Hey everyone! I am so sorry it's been so long since I've posted. School has been taking over my life these past few weeks and I hate it! But on to the devo...

V. 8 "But we belong to the day. So let us control ourselves. let us put on the armor of faith and the love on our chest. Let us put on the hope of salvation like a helmet."

Let us walk our days with love on our chest and hope on our head protecting us.

V. 9-11 "God didn't choose us to receive his anger. He chose us to receive his anger. He chose us to receive salvation because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done. Jesus died for us. Some will be alive when he comes others will be dead. Either way, we will live together with him. So cheer each other up with the hope you have. Build each other up. In fact, that is what you are doing."

"Jesus died for us" so that we can live with him forever! We are all humans on this earth and "either way we will live together with him" forever. So BUILD EACH OTHER UP! Whats the point in tearing someone down? THERE IS NONE! Haha! Then why do we do it! Because there is this thing called sin in this world. Sound familiar? Sin tears us down and leads us to tear others down along with us. But, God sent his son to defeat sin! God has conquered sin! He's covered it! That's the hope we have. We can carry that hope with us as our helmets. And live out that hope of Jesus Christ by building each other up!
