Painted Heart

  • Romans 12:9-13

V. 9-11 Love must be honest and true. Hate what is evil. Hold on to what is good. Love each other deeply. Honor others more than yourselves. Never let the fire in your hearts go out. Keep it alive. Serve the Lord.

Throughout the Bible God calls us to be love. And he tells us with details what love is. "Love is Patient. Love is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not boast."

" God wants us to show love more than anything else. he wants us to love others." - NIRV Adventure Bible

V. 12-13 When we hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When we pray, be faithful. Share with God's people who are in need. Welcome others into your home.

All these verses are describing what love is. We are to be the hands and feet of LOVE.

  • How would you describe Love?

  • How can you be Love in your own community?

I like to end a devotion with a challenge. So I challenge you to do one act that shows love to others.
